Wake Field Estate’s cross country courses range from 20cm jumps to 1.15cm jumps. We have six different levels to suit everyone’s need from pre-intro (max 55cm) all the way to novice (max 1.15cm). Our starting level is at pre-intro which is aimed to train young horses and give nervous riders confidence. The jumps are between 20cm-55cm in height and have a mixture of very small ‘scary’ jumps and plenty of easy confidence boosters. Then with each level the courses get longer, more questions are asked and each level has a larger amount of jumps.
We have everything from ditches to stair cases to water jumps and even have a pond you can take your horse in… even if you don’t want to jump there is plenty of space to let your horse have a good run or to just have a play.
We keep the cross country area open all year round, but for safety certain jumps will be taped off during winter.
